HCL Technologies to invest Rs 110 cr in Project `Samuday'

So far, the project under HCL Foundation is being implemented in the Hardoi district of UP across 720 villages. The initiative was inaugurated in Lucknow by UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

HCL Technologies to invest Rs 110 cr in Project `Samuday'
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort, HCL Technologies is planning to invest around Rs 110 crore towards the `Samuday' initiative which works towards the upliftment of rural areas through the use of technology.

So far, the project under HCL Foundation is being implemented in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh across 720 villages. The initiative was inaugurated in Lucknow by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Navpreet Kaur, director, Project Samuday told ET that the idea is to make rural folks self-sustainable instead of freebies. The initiative works in the areas of education, livelihood, health, infrastructure, sanitation and agriculture, added Kaur.
