Genpact yet to feel slowdown impact: CEO

Genpact said that it is yet to feel the impact of the ongoing global turmoil on its revenues.

NEW DELHI: Country's leading BPO company Genpact on Monday said that it is yet to feel the impact of the ongoing global turmoil on its revenues.

"The company is yet to feel the impact of the ongoing slowdown on its revenues," Genpact CEO Pramod Bhasin told reporters on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit 2008 here.

He, however, said that "clarity would emerge in the next three-four months if there has been any impact on the company's finances".

Besides, Bhasin said that all expansion and hiring plans of the company were on track.

Genpact was in the process of setting up a centre in Morocco to cater to the French-speaking population, he added.
Talking about the US-listed company's plans on the mergers and acquisitions front, he said Genpact had been looking to make some acquisitions overseas, but high valuation had been hindering its plans at the moment.
