Genpact ties up with ACCA, GTG for staff training

NEW DELHI: With an aim to provide extensive knowledge of global accounting standards in the marketplace, business process outsourcing services provider Genpact has announced an alliance with Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and Get Through Guides (GTG).

Over 125 finance and accounting staff from Genpact would study for ACCA’s diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). The staff will be trained by specialist finance and management tuition providers from GTG from this month, a company statement said.

ACCA is the largest and fastest-growing international professional accountancy body and has 296,000 students and 115,000 members in 170 countries.

“This programme provides our employees with the platform to further their domain knowledge and augment their understanding of international accounting standards. This alliance will facilitate growth among professionals,” Genpact VP Piyush Mehta said.
