Genpact opens centre in Dubai for Middle East, N Africa clients

BPO major Genpact today announced the opening of new global delivery centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to serve clients in the Middle East.

NEW DELHI: BPO major Genpact today announced the opening of new global delivery centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to serve clients in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The 80-seat centre will provide business process services such as claims processing, customer service, collections, treasury operations, finance and accounting, analytics and risk-related services for clients in the Middle East and North Africa, Genpact said in a statement.

"We are delighted to begin operations in Dubai and hope to grow this centre into a 500-person centre in the next three years," Genpact President and CEO NV 'Tiger' Tyagarajan said.

With this centre, Genpact now has delivery centres in 17 countries. The Dubai centre would initially focus on clients in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia markets, Genpact SVP and Business Leader (Middle East) Vishal Pandit said.

In addition to providing BPO services out of Dubai, Genpact will also be working with clients to improve the effectiveness of their IT infrastructure.
