Genpact may withdraw its earnings guidance

Genpact, which had issued its full-year outlook in February, expected growth of 10.5-12.5% in 2020.

BENGALURU: Genpact, the largest stand-alone business process management company, is due to withdraw its earnings guidance, sources with direct knowledge of the matter said, joining a slew of other firms such as Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro, which have taken similar steps battered by the Covid-19 pandemic.

While Cognizant pulled its full-year guidance, Infosys and Wipro have suspended forecasts as the industry struggles to deal with the uncertainty caused by lockdowns to combat the outbreak.

Genpact, which had issued its full-year outlook in February, expected growth of 10.5-12.5% in 2020.
