Genpact buys European SAP firm ICE Enterprise

NEW DELHI: BPO major Genpact on Monday announced that it has acquired ICE Enterprise Solutions, a European SAP service provider. The company did not disclose the terms of the deal.

The acquisition is in line with Genpact’s strategy of providing solutions for its customers combining platforms, business intelligence and process excellence.

Genpact President & CEO Pramod Bhasin said the acquisition matches the needs of global clients who were looking for business process service providers with broad and deep technology capabilities. “This acquisition further strengthens our ability to provide seamless, end-to-end solutions for our customers,” he said.

Genpact has ERP, application and IT professionals based in India, China, the UK, and the US, and is also one of the world’s largest providers of Oracle E-business suite solutions, he noted.

ICE is an SAP Services Partner, Utilities Partner, and SAP Partner and StreamServe Partner in Spain. ICE specialises in serving large European multinationals in the manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, insurance, and financial services industries.
