Nasdaq-listed Exl Service Holdings is going to invest $12 million in an 800-seat facility in Philippines.

Nasdaq-listed Exl Service Holdings is going to invest $12 million in an 800-seat facility in Philippines. It has acquired 80,000 sq ft for the facility, which would be operational by April-May next year. EXL will enjoy a five-year tax holiday in Philippines.

"Philippines is strong in finance and accounting (F&A) as they use US GAAP there. We plan to do customer service and collection work, apart from F&A work in the country," said EXL president and COO Rohit Kapoor. NYSE-listed Genpact, too, is expanding presence in the country.
