Executive Vice President Ritika Suri resigns from Infosys

Suri, who earned over Rs 5.1 crore in gross salary in FY17, was in charge the company’s corporate development and merger & acquisitions.

BENGALURU: Infosys executive vice president Ritika Suri, one of the people CEO Vishal Sikka brought with him from SAP, has resigned the company, a media report said.

Suri, who earned over Rs 5.1 crore in gross salary in FY17, was in charge the company’s corporate development and merger & acquisitions. She was among the top-paid executives who joined from Sikka’s former employer SAP.

She led the acquisition of Israeli automation company Panaya, which was at the centre of a whistleblower letter and a later investigation. She also helped set up the company’s $500 milliom venture fund which has since written down about a third of the $45 million is has deployed.

The development was reported by business paper Mint.

Her resignation comes after Infosys said it had been completely cleared by an independent investigation into alleged improprieties in its acquisition of Panaya and ecommerce platform Skava.

An email seeking comment from Infosys has not yet received a response.
