Europe based RheinBrücke opens development centre in Chennai

NEW DELHI: RheinBrücke IT Consulting, a Europe based enterprise business systems and IT solutions and services provider to small and medium enterprises, today announced the launch of its India Development Centre ( IDC) in Chennai.

RheinBrücke also announced setting up of a migration factory for software products developer Epicor’s EMEA consulting organization. The facility will support Epicor’s EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) Consulting organization to migrate/upgrade customers from Epicor e9 to Epicor ERP Version 10, Epicor’s business software solution based on collaboration, choice, responsiveness, simplicity and mobility. Epicor offers business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations.

The Chennai based IDC that includes the Epicor migration and upgrade factory, currently houses 70 employees including IT consultants, engineers and developers. RheinBrücke plans to increase the employee strength to 100 by the end of the year and then double its number of employees every year, over the next five years.

The IDC is part of RheinBrücke’s strategy to build a strong global presence to support client delivery across its EMEA region. The company also plans to set up a near shore development center in Eastern Europe.
