Delhi blast will have no impact on IT companies: Krish Gopalakrishnan

Infosys Executive Co-Chairman Krish Gopalakrishnan today said the Delhi bomb blast incident will not bear any impact on IT biz.

BANGALORE: Infosys Technologies Executive Co-Chairman Krish Gopalakrishnan today said the Delhi bomb blast incident will not bear any impact on information technology business.

"There were concerns in the aftermath of Mumbai terror attacks, but we have not seen any concerns raised following the Delhi blast. Firms are confident that their customers will not be impacted," Gopalakrishnan told reporters on the sidelines of the Seventh India Innovation Summit 2011 here.

He, however, said every country today was concerned about terrorism and security issues.

Gopalakrishna said Infosys was implementing disaster recovery plan with the help of Central Industrial Security Force. "We are vigilant and we are trying to provide as much security as possible," he added.
