Data strategy firm Systech Solutions to enter Indian market

PUNE: Data strategy and business intelligence firm Systech Solutions is looking at entering the Indian market as the demand for data driven solutions increases. The California, USA headquartered firm already has a delivery center in Chennai which primarily services existing clients in the US.

The firm’s India entry would be facilitated through a joint-venture between 5F World and the Chesapeake Group. Natarajan, Founder, 5F World told ET that in addition to working with startups, the JV was is focused on providing growth advisory services to mid-sized tech firms, which is where their collaboration with Systech fits in.

Arun Gollapudi, CEO, Systech said, “We see a big opportunity in any company that is working with a large number of customers.

We’ll initially focus on companies in the financial services, manufacturing and consumer products segments.” In addition to providing data analysis services, Systech would also help companies wanting to set up an in-house analytics academy and provide training on how to frame questions so as to get the right answer when working with large volumes of data. “Given the potential in India, we expect the firm to do business worth Rs 10-15 cr in the first two years,” said Natarajan.

The company started out 18 years ago providing data warehousing and analytics services and has since evolved to providing rapid insights using the data, employing machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The delivery center in Chennai, which currently houses 250 people, would be used to service Indian customers as well. Gollapudi is currently in India to meet with potential clients either to work with them on digital transformation projects or provide standalone data analytics services.
