PUNE: Web Werks launched its second data centre in Pune on Wednesday.

This is the data centre provider’s fourth such facility in the country.

The standalone 35,000 square feet structure is a Tier 3 Uptime designed facility with 5 MW of power.

With a total capacity of 10 MW, the facility will benefit from Web Werks being SAP Certified and is also carbon neutral, contributing to global go-green concepts.

“Despite all the odds that surfaced due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the subsequent lockdown, and limited manpower to deploy, the construction work has been completed. Web Werks is geared to meet the growing demand for data centres in Pune to serve the needs of customers in and outside Pune,” said CEO Nikhil Rathi.

The data centre offers interconnection platforms for cloud adoption with multi-homing cloud solutions. It has Honeywell and Spectra Security Systems, making it highly secure along with a 24x7 NOC. It will also act as a disaster recovery zone for the existing data centres in Mumbai and Delhi NCR.
