MUMBAI: The RPG group will take up the case of the cyber fraud in which the company’s account was hacked into and Rs 2.4 crore siphoned off on May 11 with Yes Bank on Monday.

The company has denied having compromised on the user identities and passwords, but Yes Bank maintains the account was hacked from the company’s end.


On May 11, Rs 2.4 crore was said to be siphoned off from the current accounts of a group company in a span of three hours through 13 transactions in Mumbai.

“The Mumbai Police is still in the process of completing the investigations,” according to a bank official, “But the amount recovered would be returned to the primary account holder after the due processes have been completed,” said the official.
