Cognizant in talks to buy French Salesforce consulting co, to add 345 employees

Bengaluru: Cognizant said it was entering into exclusive negotiations to buy the French operations of El-Technologies, a digital consulting and Salesforce specialist, for an undisclosed sum.

The IT company will add about 345 employees in France through this transaction, it said.

The transaction requires consultation with the relevant works council and would be subject to closing conditions.


“EI-Technologies, based in France, would not only support our effort to further scale our international business but also add Salesforce expertise and capabilities to our cloud management portfolio,” Brian Humphries, CEO of Cognizant said in a statement.

This is the second Salesforce acquisition that Cognizant has announced this week.

EI-Technologies is a Salesforce Platinum Partner, and its EI-Institut is among the largest Salesforce Authorized Training Delivery Partner centres in Europe.
