Cognizant implements deal with Amway India

BENGALURU: Cognizant said it implemented a large supply project with direct selling company Amway India, as the US-listed IT services firm continues to look at making inroads in the local market.

The company has said it expects Asia-Pacific to contribute $1 billion in revenue in the next few years and was looking at India as part of that expansion strategy.

The Teaneck, New Jersey headquartered company said it completed the technology consolidation and modernisation of 28 of the company’s warehouses.


“We are pleased to collaborate with Cognizant for enabling the organizational and technology changes in our warehouse operations,” Diptarag Bhattacharjee, Chief Operating Officer at Amway India, said in a statement.
