Cloud-based healthcare IT product company Attune Tech raises $6 mn to enhance product development

CHENNAI: Cloud-based healthcare IT product company Attune Technologies today said it has raised USD six million as part of enhancing its product development offerings and scaling up business operations in the region.

The Singapore-headquartered company plans to deploy the funds in order to enhance its product development and scale business operations across South Asia, South East Asia, Middle East and China, a company statement said.

The company has raised the funds from investment firm Norwest Venture Partners.

"Funding from Norwest Venture Partners enables us to accelerate the growth of our cloud-based model in India as well as in other key global markets", Attune Technologies CEO and Director Arvind Kumar said.

Norwest Venture Partners Executive Director Mohan Kumar said the health care services market is growing rapidly in India, ASEAN region with creation of large chains of health care service providers. "We believe that a cloud-based architecture naturally lends itself to integrating these chains bringing in operational efficiency."

Attune Technologies is engaged in developing cloud-based hospital information system, lab information system for diagnostics laboratories, including Metropolis, MEDALL, the statement added.
