E-tendering firm C1 India Pvt Ltd today said the company along with IMTAC has bagged an order worth Rs 30 crore from the Sultanate of Oman to roll out Tender Management Software (TMS) in Oman to automate country's bidding process.
"This project is for a period of three years," C1 CEO Vivek Agarwal said from Oman. The project aims to automate all manual processes required during the tendering stages and also train tender board staff and IT professionals to ensure effective use, management and efficient monitoring of the e-tendering system, a company statement said.
The project was jointly awardwed to a consortium represented by C1 India and Industrial Management Technology & Contracting (IMTAC) LLC. "The ratio of revenue between us and IMTAC would be in 60-40," Agarwal added.
The e-tendering system will also help to track if tender board laws and regulations are being followed, or even point to the cases of exemptions, since the selected system can be customised to include any number of entities.
This award is a major success and validates that C1 India has a world class project which can compete globally with the best in the world in the e-tendering space, Agarwal said.
