Budget 2015: 'Make in India' will stimulate IT growth, says Vishnu Dusad of Nucleus Software Exports
NEW DELHI: The IT and ITeS industry is keen on tapping the potential of 'Make in India' initiative to introduce policies and reforms that could stimulate its growth.

"Judging by the positive sentiment in the country, we have very high expectations from the next Budget," says Founder of Nucleus Software Exports, Vishnu Dusad.

"The government's 'Make in India' initiative will not just encourage companies to grow, but will also lead to an increase in the number of software product start-ups in the country," he adds.

The industry believes that India has the potential to create the next Silicon Valley and this Budget can be the launchpad for that vision. According to industry sources, the IT market is on the rise and is expected to grow to $225 billion by 2020.

"The government should spearhead technology projects which could help the economy latch onto latest IT platforms in areas like financial inclusion and banking services," feels Dusad.

"In addition to the 'Make in India' initiative, we also support the vision behind the ‘Digital India’ campaign," he adds.
