BPO EXL appoints former TCS executive Suren Kumar as head of consulting

MUMBAI: Business process outsourcing company EXL said it appointed former TCS executive Suren Kumar as global head of EXL Consulting as expects to use that unit to create more business opportunities.

Kumar was most recently the Global Managing Partner for Banking and Financial Services in TCS’ consulting division.

"EXL will continue to develop domain-specific solutions to solve these high priority challenges for our clients, while leveraging consulting as the ‘tip of the spear' to create downstream opportunities in Operations Management and Analytics businesses," Rohit Kapoor, CEO of EXL, said in a statement.

Kumar will also form part of EXL’s global leadership committee.
