Bmi, Kale Consultants announce co-creation initiative
Leading UK airline bmi and IT major Kale Consultants announced a co-creation initiative to jointly develop a financial decision support system for airlines.

MUMBAI: Leading UK airline bmi and IT major Kale Consultants on thursday announced a co-creation initiative to jointly develop a financial decision support system for airlines.
"This initiative will provide us with better information to improve business performance and reduce costs, which is essential in the current environment," bmi's Chief Financial Officer Robert Palmer said in a statement issued here.
"Our relationship with bmi is an ideal case study for the airline industry to formulate innovative and win-win value propositions to improve internal efficiencies," Kale Consultant's Head (Airlines SBU) Neela Bhattacharjee, said.
"A major way to reduce costs and complexities for airlines today is partnering with service providers with domain expertise to optimise their entire value-chain and end-to-end business processes to reduce costs," Bhattacharjee said.
The initiative takes the two-year bmi-Kale association to the next strategic level.
bmi operates services in the UK, Europe, the Middle-East, Central Asia and Africa from Heathrow in London.
