Bangalore-based Acropetal acquires two companies in the US

BANGALORE: City-based Acropetal Technologies Ltd today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire two US-based companies LineBeyondInc, and Optech Consulting Inc.

LineBeyond is valued at $ 5 million and Optech at $ 7 million, respectively, the company said in a statement.

Acropetal said it acquired 100 per cent of LineBeyond and 70 per cent of Optech Consulting Inc. The cost of acquisition of these companies is $ 4.9 million each.

"These acquisitions will significantly expand Acropetal's addressable market and growth potential, broadening the solutions Acropetal provides to the rapidly growing Healthcare IT market", it said.

LineBeyond is headquartered in the Bay Area; CA providing IT outsourced development services, specialised healthcare Solutions and consulting services from mid-size to Fortune 500 business enterprises.

Optech Consulting is headquartered in Dallas, Texas offering leading strategic information technology solutions and services globally since 1996.
