Automation Anywhere plans to produce over 500 bots: Kothari
Robotic process automation company Automation Anywhere said it has over 210 pre-built bots in its Bot Store, an online marketplace for bots that allows enterprise customers to download RPA bots online and reduce deployment time.

“In just two months since launch, the number of bots in the Bot Store has grown from 100 to 210,” said Ankur Kothari, cofounder of Automation Anywhere. “These bots help accelerate automation in across industries and we will have over 500 bots in the Bot Store by the end of the year.”

The Bot Store has pre-built bots from Automation Anywhere and features bots from strategic partners like EY, Accenture, Genpact, Infosys and Salesforce.

The global market for RPA software and services reached $271 million in 2016 and is expected to grow to $1.2 billion by 2021 at a compound annual growth rate of 36%, according to HfS Research. The direct services market includes implementation and consulting services focused on building RPA capabilities within an organisation.

The Bot Store allows Automation Anywhere’s enterprise customers to browse, download, and configure bots to automate processes much faster. “We have over 140 plus partners of which 80 plus are building bots and submitting in the Bot Store,” said Kothari, adding that they have over 40 bot submission a week. Automation Anywhere screens and curates all bots that are uploaded.
