CHENNAI: Four-year-old cloud-based IT product company has raised $6 million (about Rs 32.6 crore), Series A, from Norwest Venture Partners, in an attempt to enhance product development and scale up.


The company says its technology platform Attune Health Kernel provides hospital, labs and clinics with an integrated services for scheduling, billing. In other words, it enables the management of patient data and workflow on cloud.

The Singapore-headquartered company, with a development centre in India, has 85 customers (with more than 2 million patient records). It counts Metropolis and MedAll as its top clients.

The company will use the monies to expand in India as well as in other regions such as Asean, West Asia and North Africa.


In its first round of fund raising in January 2010, the company got $700,000 from various angel investors from Singapore.
