Aegis to invest Rs 480 cr in tech services
Aegis plans to invest $100 million over the next 12 months in Aegis Tech.
Aegis plans to invest $100 million (about Rs 480 crore) over the next 12 months in Aegis Tech, a company spokesperson said.
The subsidiary firm would provide end-to-end, customised solutions in the areas of voice, data, networking, unified communications, managed services, info security, and remote infrastructure management, Aegis said in a statement.
Aegis Ltd MD and Global CEO Aparup Sengupta said, "Aegis Tech will work closely with the existing customers to offer end-to-end solutions. This synergy will deliver more value to our existing and prospective customers."
The existing technology people under Aegis group companies would move to Aegis Tech and the company would have over 500 people spread across India, ASEAN, North America, Africa and Australia.
"The employee base is expected to reach over 1,000 in the next 12-18 months through new hires and acquisitions, and we will have a global footprint to offer our services engagement to our customers and partners, S K Jha, who has been appointed as the President of Aegis Tech, said.
