Aegis JV bags BPO contract from Saudi Telecom Company
Aegis today said its joint venture firm, CCC, has won a multi-million dollar contract from STC to provide BPO services related to HR.

Aegis has formed CCC in joint venture with STC. The scope of the contract includes recruitment, reward and core HR administration, learning services covering content sourcing and development, programme planning and delivery, learning system hosting, payroll administration and management, Aegis said in a statement.
The agreement will benefit more than four business units of STC covering over 1,000 employees, and introduce a series of HR process improvements focused on enhancing the user experience, it said.
"This contract represents a new milestone in Aegis-STC collaboration, and is a testament to our global business strategy focusing around multi-dimensional customer experience management," Aegis Global CEO Sandip Sen said.
In 2011, Aegis had bagged a contract worth USD 2 billion from Saudi Telecom, under which the BPO major manages the entire customer care operations of the telecom firm.
As part of the deal, Aegis and STC formed CCC, an equal stake joint venture, to provide customer care service to over 28 million STC customers in Saudi Arabia. The JV currently employs over 1,300 people in Riyadh and Jeddah.
Besides Saudi Telecom, CCC has won over six new external clients across media, Government, BFSI, healthcare and travel and hospitality verticals, the statement added.
