ADSL forms JV with e-Cops for managed security services

The Mumbai-based IT services provider Allied Digital Services Ltd has announced setting up a joint venture with Singapore firm e-Cops.

NEW DELHI: The Mumbai-based IT services provider Allied Digital Services Ltd has announced setting up a joint venture with Singapore firm e-Cops to enter into managed security services business.

The company would hold a majority stake of 80 per cent in the joint venture while the remaining 20 per cent participating interest would be owned by the Singapore-based firm e-Cop, Allied Digital Services said in a statement.

E-Cop is the leading service provider of managed risk and information security services, it said.

"The JV's offerings can dispel security concerns prevalent in global enterprises regarding extensive deployment of Cloud Computing in enterprises," said Nitin Shah, chairman and managing director of ADSL.

The JV would give Allied Digital exclusive marketing rights in 20 countries, it said.
