Yahoo! India redesigns home page

BANGALORE: Marking the "most significant" redesign of its home page, Yahoo! India on Monday unveiled a preview of the new look for its flagship destination, yahoo.co.in.

"Putting consumers at the centre of their web experience, the new yahoo.co.in page would let them get things done quickly and stay up-to-date on the latest news, trends and buzz about what's going on in India and rest of the world", a company release said.

"By using innovative technology, we were able to redefine what a home page could and should be. With an increased focus on search, content and community, we have built a consumer-friendly home page that adds value and excitement for our users and advertisers," said George Zacharias, Managing Director, Yahoo! India.
