Wipro signs distribution agreement with Egenera

BANGALORE: Wipro Infotech, which is India, Middle East and Asia Pacific IT Business segment of Wipro Ltd, and Egenera - a data centre virtualisation company today announced that they have entered into a distribution agreement.
A Wipro statement said Egenera has pioneered a new computing architecture - the patented Processing Area Network - specifically designed to reduce data centre complexity, resulting in agility, availability and cost-effectiveness.
Under the terms of the agreement, Wipro Infotech will resell the full suite of Egenera products and emerging IT sales opportunities for the company within India.
