Website on Subhash Chandra Bose to be launched tomorrow
A website dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be launched on Friday on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of the leader.
The website, www.subhaschandrabose.org, will be hosted by a Delhi-based non-profit trust, Mission Netaji, and Kolkata-based Jayasree Prakashan, according to a press note released on Thursday.
Mission Netaji has been working for few years to bring to the public domain all documents related to inquiries about Bose's disappearance in August 1945, the note said.
"Many of these documents are still classified as 'Top Secret' and considered to be highly sensitive by the Government of India.
"So far Mission Netaji has succeeded in obtaining the release of 91 selected documents which were placed before the G D Khosla Commission, set up to re-investigate the disappearance of Bose. These documents will be available through the new website," the press note said.
The website for the first time will offer Boses' writings, speeches, letters, and studies by his contemporaries, scholars and family members who were closely associated with his work.
