Vodafone, GMR join hands to provide Wi-Fi at Delhi Airport
Vodafone's pre-paid or post-paid customers can now avail complementary Wi-Fi facilities at both terminals of the airport.

Following deployment, the high-speed Wi-Fi services are available at both terminals of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi, the UK-based company said in a statement. The service has opened for fliers after over three months of tests. More than 1lakh inbound and outbound travellers use the IGI airport every day.
With this initiative, Vodafone subscribers will get 1GB free Wi-Fi on a recharge of 1GB and 2GB, 3G or 4G pack that can be used at Wi-Fi zone at the IGI airport or any other Wi-Fi zone powered by Vodafone. The free 1GB Wi-Fi offer is also applicable on Vodafone U recharges of 1GB and above, the telco added.
“With customer needs evolving from voice to data, Wi-Fi is an effective technology to provide seamless connectivity to a large group of consumers in a defined space,” Sandeep Kataria, director-commercial at Vodafone India, said.
