In the microblogging world of Twitter, it is all about the number of followers. While there are some with millions following them, getting even a few thousands to do so is not easy.

That said, there is the possibility of “getting” followers if you are willing to pay. Twitter Audit evaluates whether a user’s followers are fake or real by analysing the number of tweets, date of the last tweet, and ratio of followers to friends, and so on.
