Turning a blind eye to cyber threats
People tend to ignore the need for cyber security when online despite knowing the risks involved, finds a survey of online users in five South-east Asian countries and India. The study by ESET, a global provider of security solutions, says although 93 per cent of online users in Asia worry about cyber security, yet over 38 per cent of them engage in risky behaviour. The survey found that 40.8 per cent of Indian respondents engage in risky behaviour, the highest proportion among the six countries. Here's a look:
