NEW DELHI: Google today marked India's 65th Republic Day with a doodle in which daredevil motorcyclists, representing a unit of the security forces, have been painted in the colours of the Indian national flag.

The non-animated Google doodle shows the motorcycle display, similar to the one which was performed as part of the Republic Day Parade in the national capital today.

The motorcyclists are seen in the doodle that has saffron, white and green -- the colours of the Indian flag.

The letters G, O, G, L, E are painted in green while the second O is in saffron.

A click on the doodle leads to search results about Republic Day.

Motorcyclists performing daredevil stunts has been one of the major attractions of the grand Republic Day parade, which showcases India's cultural diversity and military might.
