Pikboo.com, platform to create websites for kids launched

NEW DELHI: My Own Site Private Limited has launched a platform, Pikboo.com to build websites for children. The platform has design templates, CMS, navigation and other features. The platform is meant to create websites with domains to help parents track the life of their kids on the web.

The process is a combination of product design, technology and manual effort. A comprehensive control panel is meant to give complete control to parents to edit the details on site.

Sandeep Amar, from the Indian digital industry, is the founder and CEO of the company. Sandeep Amar, said "This is kind of a paid, secure, parent's friendly 'Facebook for kids' with closed-user-group social experience. The closed-user-group is expected to be only with relatives and close friends."

"Great looking websites was our key objective. This needed some manual intervention - we have created processes to match product design and technology. It is not about having hundreds of templates, it is about matching templates with pictures and content. We have filed a patent for this process as well." added Amar.

The international services will start from for $65 for a year and in India it will start from Rs 4500 for a year.
