Mobile data traffic to grow ten-fold by 2021: Ericsson's Mobility Report

Mobile phone subscriptions are rising worldwide, with India registering most additions in Q3, 2015, according to Ericsson's Mobility Report. Now there are as many mobile subscriptions as there are people on the planet. Smartphone subscriptions are growing even faster. Same for mobile broadband. The number of mobile broadband subscriptions is growing globally by around 25 per cent year-on-year, increasing by approximately 160 million in Q3 2015 alone. This in turn is pushing up data traffic.
