McAfee appoints John Giamatteo to lead consumer business

Online security solutions provider McAfee today said it has appointed John Giamatteo as senior vice president and general manager of its consumer business.

Giamatteo, who joins McAfee from AVG, will play a key role in bringing new products to market, McAfee said in a statement.

In his new position, Giamatteo will report directly to Michael DeCesare, president of McAfee. He will work as part of the global executive team to drive the company's consumer growth strategy.
