NEW DELHI: After the revival of the company and subsequent re-branding, the once fraud-hit Satyam Computer (now Mahindra Satyam) has now joined the league of Tata Teleservices and Infosys in giving updates on popular social networking site Twitter.
The company's tweeting is seen as one of the ways to bring in transparency in its day-to-day operations.
Besides company updates, Mahindra Satyam's tweets (messages) include information about various campaigns being undertaken.
'Mahindra Satyam reinstates variable portion of the compensation for all associates (employees)', 'Mahindra Satyam BPO looking to hire 300 employees in addition to the 700 hired last month', were posted on the website.
Mahindra Satyam was acquired by Tech Mahindra following multi-crore rupee fraud disclosure by its former chief B Ramalinga Raju through a long bidding process.
'Mahindra Satyam launches 'ERP Shared Services' targeting Middle East and North Africa region' and 'Anand Mahindra, vice-chairman and MD of Mahindra group of companies is the ET Business Leader of the year 2009 ' were some of the other tweets on the website.
