MUMBAI: The list of sites blocked and censored by DoT are a combination of personal web sites, some devoted to Hindu religion and others critical to the Left parties.
According to government regulations, the DoT can censor or block access by internet users to only those sites which are either anti-national or against public interest. The nature of the content on these sites cannot be determined as they are blocked, but their names give some indication.
The sites blocked are www.hinduunity.org, mypetjawa.mu.nu, pajamaeditors.blogspot.com, exposingtheleft.blogspot.com, the pireteacove.us, commonfolcommonsense.blogspot.com, barrenpach- yderm.com, princeberley.blogspot.com, merrimusings.typepad.com, mackers-world.com, dardstan.org, hinduhumanrights.org/hindufocus.html, www.ondh.com, bloodnovel.tripod.com, imagessearch.yahoo.com, www.imamali8.com and rahulyadav.com
