Jio revises plans, Rs 149 recharge to now give you 1GB per day data

In the ongoing tariff war, Reliance Jio has announced to offer 1GB per day data at just Rs 149, down from earlier Rs 199. As part of ‘Happy New Year 2018’ plan, the new Rs 149 plan will have a validity of 28 days.

Apart from Rs 149 plan, Jio has also reduced prices for other plans as well. As per the new offers, all the previous plans have now been split into two — one with 50 per cent more data and another with Rs 50 discount.

All the 1GB per day plans have received a price cut of Rs 50. So, for example, customers who were paying Rs 199 for 1GB a day will now pay Rs 149 for 28 days validity. Similarly, the earlier Rs 399 plan has been reduced to Rs 349 with a validity of 70 days.

The new Rs 399 plan will now provide 20 per cent additional data with enhanced validity of two additional weeks, increasing the current validity from 70 to 84 days.

The Rs 459 plan would now cost Rs 399 with a validity of same 84 days, while the 499 plan will now be bought at Rs 449 with 91 daily limit.

Under the 50 per cent extra data plans of 1.5 GB per day, the Rs 198 plan will now give a user 42GB data, compared to the earlier 28GB and have a validity of 28 days. Similarly, Jio has increased 50% data for the Rs 398, Rs 448 and Rs 498 recharge plans. The Rs 398 plan will now offer 105 GB data, compared to 70GB data earlier; Rs 448 plan will give 126GB from 84GB offered earlier and Rs 498 will now fetch 136 GB data, compared to 91GB data earlier.
