Jio effect: Airtel's Rs 399 prepaid plan now gives 2.4 GB of data per day

Airtel has reportedly revised its Rs 399 plan that now offers 2.4 GB of data per day, up from 1.4 GB of data per day.

The Rs 399 plan comes with 70 days validity. This means, you will get huge 168 GB of data for just Rs 399. Plus, it offers unlimited calling and SMS facility - with some restrictions though such as 100 SMS limit per day and it does not offer calling to paid numbers like that of your bank customer care number.

Interestingly, some users have also reported to have got 84 days validity with Airtel's Rs 399 plan. So they will now get 201.6 GB of data under the new plan.


However, the new offer has reportedly been rolled out for few users only. Hopefully, it will be rolled out for all very soon.

On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers 1.5 GB of data, unlimited calling and SMS benefits with its Rs 399 prepaid plan.
