Idea 4G LTE now covers all 21 districts in Haryana

NEW DELHI: Idea Cellular has expanded its 4G LTE services to cover all the 21 districts of Haryana telecom service area, becoming the first and only service provider to offer 4G services in 120 of the 133 towns of the state.

The 4G service is now available in the smaller towns of Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Jind, Dharuhera, Pinjore, Sohna and Palwal, in addition to the major towns of Ambala, Karnal, Hissar, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak and Sonipat where services were launched earlier this year.

In a statement Thursday, Rakesh Setia, Circle Head of Haryana at Idea said that customers across the state were increasingly adopting mobile internet services and Idea had taken the lead in extending high-speed 4G LTE services.

“Our focus of building a robust telecom infrastructure and providing superior internet coverage across the length and breadth of the state has enabled us to become the largest 4G service provider in Haryana telecom service area,” he said.

Idea Cellular has focused on investing in the spectrum, by expanding the network and enhancing customer service in Haryana becoming the largest 4G operator in the circle.
