NEW DELHI: Online holiday information portal HolidayIQ is looking at increasing the number of visitors to its website by nearly three-fold to 20 million per month by the end of 2016 as part of its expansion plans. The company currently has around 7 million visitors per month.

“We are aiming to increase the number of visitors visiting our site to up to 20 million per month by 2016-end,” said Holiday IQ.com founder and CEO Hari Nair. This would be done by building the brand through advertising, marketing and offering different types of holiday products, he added.

When asked how the company plans to raise funds for the expansion, Nair said: “It would be through VC funding. Even earlier we have had VC funding by Tiger Global & Accel Partners.” The funds will be used for building the brand, products and bringing them to a set of mobile apps.
