How many times has it happened that you 'accidentally' sent a half-written mail to your boss, or forgot to include someone important in the Cc section? Don't you wish that there was some magic wand to cancel the accidental mail?

While we can't actually give you a magic wand, here is something that would do the job required, in Outlook 2007.

In the Tools menu, go to Rules and Alerts, and then click New Rule. Now, from the third option, Start from a Blank Rule, click Check messages after sending, and then click Next.

Click Next and then Yes in the dialog box that opens. This would apply the rule to all the messages that you send. Now check defer delivery by a number of minutes and click on a number of. Enter the number of minutes that you want the delay for.

Click OK, and then Next. If you want any exceptions, check the required box, and if not, click Next.
