Haryana government to form special teams to investigate cyber crimes

CHANDIGARH: Haryana government has decided to constitute special teams comprising of members possessing professional skills to detect and investigate cyber crime cases like tampering, intrusion, hacking and phishing.

The help of Gurgaon based IT companies would be sought to assist the special teams, an official spokesman said today.

The special teams will be stationed at Gurgaon, he said. A special committee, comprising senior state officials, will be constituted to take steps regarding installation of CCTV cameras at important locations in the state in a time bound manner.
