Fallible plans to launch Chrome extension to detect data leaks
BENGALURU: Fallible, a SaaS cyber security startup, plans to launch its first public product, Checksum, a chrome extension that checks web app or artificial programming interface ( API) explorer for security vulnerabilities.

“You just go to the web app or API explorer and test the features through the chrome extension, we will record the process and the network API calls made during the process, send it over to our cloud servers for processing, after which you will get an alert email that the checks are complete,” said Abhishek Anand, co-founder of Fallible. “After you fix the issues identified, you just need to replay your last recorded process to verify if the issues discovered last time have been fixed or not.”

The security checks can be carried out periodically through Checksum. Every time a new feature is added on to the website, the extension can track a recording of its usage and determine if there are any data leaks.
