NEW DELHI: In a first of its kind of association with an Indian startup, Facebook has tied up with ad-tech company Tookitaki to help brands in digital marketing and advertising. The social networking site is looking at tying up with more Indian companies to help ecommerce brands use social networking sites, such as Facebook and Instagram.

"India is a focus area for us and the ecommerce industry is our current priority. We will look for partners who can create more value for the ecommerce industry. We will also identify more industries which can be priority for us," said Kiran Raghavan, head of APAC, Marketing Partners Program at Facebook.

Raghavan and his team of two are working in close association with Facebook’s sales team in India to identify more such firms.

Tookitaki, which was founded in 2013 by Abhishek Chatterjee, also provides data analysis and predictions about customer behavior, marketing, and product sales to brands.
