ALIGARH: Calling for e-learning in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), its Vice Chancellor Prof P K Abdul Aziz said digital classroom would give a new face to the institution.

He was speaking on Wednesday at a two-day workshop on "Content development and Usage of e-Learning Solutions", being organised by Centre of Distance Education (CDE) of the university.

The workshop, sponsored by WIPRO InfoTech as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by CDE (of AMU) and WIPRO InfoTech, comprised of live demonstration, multimedia presentations and hands-on-experience on various e-learning tools and technologies.

Azis also has urged the faculty and the students of the university to take advantage of the CDE resources and infrastructure being provided and said the entire centre should avail its benefit, a statement issued by the AMU said.

CDE director Prof Imtiaz Hasnain briefly highlighted the achievements of the centre with regard to e-learning infrastructure and its strategic alliance with WIPRO.
