Bluegape.com targets seven-fold increase in turnover this year

Bluegape.com began operations with seed capital of Rs 3 lakh. It later got Rs 10 lakh funding from the Times group.

NEW DELHI: Fan merchandise firm Bluegape.com is targeting over seven-fold increase its turnover this year to Rs 30 crore as it plans to expand its product offerings.

"We are aggressively trying to increase the type of products offered through our site...In the current financial year we are aiming to cross the benchmark of Rs 30 crores," Sahil Baghla, Founder and CEO, Bluegape.com told PTI.

Clients of Bluegape.com include Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Aam Admi party, IPL, Sunny Leone, Poonam Pandey 9X Media, Yash Raj Films, Dhoom 3, Krishh 3 and Indian Ocean.

"As India's biggest user driven fan merchandise store, our vision is to be the top brand name when it comes to fan merchandise," he added.

The company, which was founded in August 2011, reorted turnover of Rs 4 crore in the previous fiscal.

Bluegape.com began operations with seed capital of Rs 3 lakh. It later got Rs 10 lakh funding from the Times group and Rs 1.5 crore from Letsventure group.

"We have sufficient capital for the next 6 months which will be utilised wisely for the business growth," Baghla added.
