AP Broadband project to commence next year

The Andhra Pradesh's prestigious project "A P Broadband project" is likely to be ready by March next year.

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh's prestigious project "A P Broadband project" is likely to be ready by March next year.
This was revealed by AP Aksh Broadband promotor RVR Chowdary to reporters here after Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy reviewed the status of the project on Wednesday.
Chowdary said work were under progress for the project, aimed at connecting all government offices in the state as well as turning the dream of information technology revolution into reality in rural areas.
So far the connectivity has reached in seven districts of Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam, Chowdary said.
The review meeting was attended by the IT department secretary K Ratna Prabha, Chief Executive Officer of A P Aksh Broadband V K Dhir ( Lt Gen Retd) and its promotor RVR Chowdary and other officials concerned.
