Anish Madani quits Twitter as head of sports partnerships for APAC

Aneesh Madani, who announced his exit via a tweet on Tuesday, has been with the company for over 5 years.

In September last year Taranjeet Singh, who built the India business for Twitter, had stepped down from his position as Country Director.
MUMBAI: Aneesh Madani, head of sports partnerships for Asia Pacific at Twitter has put in his papers.

Madani, who announced his exit via a tweet on Tuesday, has been with the company for over 5 years.

“It’s time for the next adventure! @Twitter, you will always have my heart. #LoveWhereYouWorked,” Madani wrote.



Madani had joined Twitter in November 2013 as head of Sports Partnerships for India. Later, South East Asia and starting June 2017, entire Asia Pacific was brought under his ambit.

Prior to Twitter, Madani has worked with Nimbus Communications, Neo Sports and Leo Burnett.
